Girls' Game Equipment
General Equipment Guidelines:
- Eyewear - Goggles that meet ASTM standard (F3077) OR Headgear (girls helmet) that meets ASTM standard (F3137)
- Mouthpiece - NO tabs protruding from the mouth, formed to teeth, fits snugly
Field Sticks: A girls' game stick is different than a boys' game stick!
- Pocket: when the ball is placed into the pocket of a horizontally held stick, the ball must be visible above the top of the sidewall (exception: K-4 grade may play with a modified pocket - no more than half the ball can be seen below the sidewall)
- Length: between 35.5 inches and 43.25 inches (exception: K-2nd grade may play with a shorter stick - recommended length - from the player's waist to the ground)
Other Personal Equipment:
- Field players may wear close-fitting gloves (not padded).
- Soft, close-fitting hats may be worn (no hard brims).
- Cleats - no spikes (soccer or lacrosse cleats recommended).
NO JEWELRY
Jewelry may NOT be taped or covered by bandages, headbands, etc. All jewelry, with the exception of medic-alert medals, must be removed.
